Getting Started with RST

The Rotary Swing Tour, or RST for short, is a golf swing model that was born out of research in the biomechanics of the body, the physics of the golf club and the physiology of how the brain learns. Through this research, our team developed a set of fundamentals that are appropriate for any golfer or golf swing who is interested in swinging powerfully, safely and efficiently. While the RST is a complete swing system, you can integrate the fundamentals you will learn here into any sound swing methodology to give yourself more distance with less effort, all while protecting your body from injury and undue stress on the joints.

Watch this video from US Olympics Committee Biomechanist Dr. Jeff Broker to learn more about our approach to making you the best golfer you can be:

The key to learning RST is watching the videos and reading the articles in the sequence they are laid out on the site. The video player is structured specifically to walk you through all the videos in 5 Phases that will teach you everything you need to know about the golf swing and EXACTLY HOW TO DO IT. The RST Video Player is the simplest way to navigate all the content on the website as you can access all the videos and articles from this one simple player that is customized to your swing preferences.

If you look at the video player below, you will notice three boxes just beneath the video itself. These three boxes have tabs that allow you to navigate to different sections of videos such as Short Game, Tour Pro Swings as well as moving around in the 5 Phases of RST. The far left box shows you all the videos for the specific phase you are viewing and they are color coded to match the tabs. In this case, we are viewing the Introduction and RST Fit sections of Phase 1 as they are color coded black to match the Phase 1 tab. If you click on one othe links, the middle box will change to give you more information about that specific video and allow you to play it.

The right hand box keeps track of all the videos you've watched by placing a green checkmarked circle next to the greyed out video name. If you have not watched the video before, a red "play" button will be displayed and the title will be dark grey and bold so that is easily distinguished from the other videos. Lastly, once a video starts playing, you can "right click" the video screen to expand it to "full screen" and utilize your entire monitor to view the video.

If you are an RST Group Learning member, you will see the black box beneath the video navigation. This is our proprietary Progress Tracker learning system for RST. It is designed to help keep you on track performing the drills necessary to for your brain to develop a new motor movement pattern. It has many other cool features that you can learn more about here.

Now that we've got that out of the way, let's get started!

Perfect for both students and instructors!

"I don't make a penny advocating the purchase of the RST Instructor Manuals -- but I think it's a must have if you are serious about going deep with RST. Grab it for your birthday, Father's Day, etc. and you'll be happy you did.

Many of the common faults and origins of those faults are found in the RST manual."

“After viewing the free videos and putting into practice what Chuck was teaching, I saw an immediate improvement in my ball striking. What was being taught made perfect sense to me. And I knew this was what was missing from my game.”

Meet Your Instructor

I’m Chuck Quinton, founder of Rotary Swing Golf.

I’ve taught golfers of all levels for the past 15 years.

I now certify other instructors to teach my unique Rotary Swing Tour (RST) system.

I spent thousands of hours developing the RST with the help of biomechanists, orthopedists, learning experts and others.

RST has driven my handicap to 3 strokes better than scratch.

What My Students Say

“Chuck Quinton is hands down the single best golf swing instructor in the industry.

As a former athlete I consider Chuck to be one of the great teachers in not just golf; but all of the sports world. He is an elite class all his own.

He has a passion for seeing his students improve and has helped me shave 12 strokes off my handicap in less than a year.”
