Improve Faster with the RST Progress Tracker

What is the RST Progress Tracker?

It's the perfect complement to your offseason practice routine:

  • Learn faster by following a structured program
  • Gain confidence by knowing that you are working on your swing in the right sequence
  • Compare your swing with our RST Checkpoint images and bullet point reminders
  • Stay organized by keeping all your practice info in one place

In summary, the RST Progress Tracker lays out a swing improvement program and lets you track the number of reps you take in practice. It also provides Checkpoints that consist of images and bullet points to which you can compare your swing.

Of course, to compare your swing, you'll need some visual feedback. When practicing, we highly recommend you use a camera (we like the Casio Ex-FC150) and a mirror (here's a great portable mirror for golf).

Why did you create the RST Progress Tracker?

Our goal over the coming months is to upgrade the website so that it replicates as much as possible the in-person experience with RST Founder Chuck Quinton.

During an in-person lesson, for example, Chuck would ensure you have the setup mastered before moving on to the takeaway and that you have the takeaway down before completing the backswing, and so on.

The Progress Tracker helps keep you disciplined and focused to approach your online learning the same way. Until you closely match the Checkpoints, you need to keeping working on the same piece of the swing.

And just like in an in-person lesson, the Progress Tracker recommends a practice routine and points you to all the drills you need to master each piece of the swing by providing a play button for the applicable "5 Minutes per Day" structured learning video.

These are all crucial elements of Chuck's RST instructional methods, which continue to produce amazing successes.

The bottom line is that you can skip around from one part of the swing to another or from one random tip to another, but you'll never make the improvements you should until you follow a structured program like this.

Who gets to use the RST Progress Tracker?

All Premium Members get full access, but you must be following the RST program (it's not available for the RS1) and YOUR BIO MUST BE COMPLETED (you can do this from your Member Personal Home Page).

You can sign up for a Premium Membership here, if you don't have one.

Where can I find the RST Progress Tracker?

Sign in, go to your RST video player, and scroll down the screen. You'll see it just below the video menu. (If it says that you need to complete your bio first, please do so and then come back to your video player to start using it.)

Is there anything I need to know to use the RST Progress Tracker?

Not much; it's very easy to use. There are three main actions you will take:

  1. Click on a red circle under Workout and submit the number of reps you've performed.
  2. Click the Checkpoint image to view the position you are striving for and the bullet point reminders.
  3. Click the Video play button to watch the associated "5 Minutes per Day" video in the screen above.

Here are a couple of additional tips that may be helpful:

  • When you first use the Progress Tracker, you'll only have access to the first program. As you complete the recommended reps, you'll unlock the following programs.
  • You can enter negative reps to subtract from your total shown if you happen to mistype your info.
  • You should print off the checkpoint and take it to your practice session.
  • If you want some personalized attention and feedback as you progress, consider signing up for an online lesson or one of our groundbreaking Online Learning Groups.

If you need any help, there are "tool tips" that explain each element of the Progress Tracker. To see those, simply hover your cursor over the column title.
