The Key: Shift Your Weight Early"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Are you ready for a simple solution to maximize your club head speed?<\/p>\n<p>As golfers, we all love the term &#8220;simple solution!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In this article, I highlight the information just released in our recent Premium video &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rotaryswing.com\/golf-instruction\/golfbiomechanics\/start-downswing-before-completing-backswing.php\">Start Downswing Before Completing Backswing<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>One of the many amazing parts of the human body is the energy that we can create with it when trained properly.<\/p>\n<p>A simple shift drill created at the RST lab helped Clay Ballard increase is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rotaryswing.com\/golf-instruction\/golfequipment\/bombyourdriver\/index.php\">driver club head speed from 113mph to 127mph<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sounds crazy right?<\/p>\n<p>Well let&#8217;s do this&#8230;I will show you the drill. You practice it and then report back if you are not swinging the club with more power consistently. Ok&#8230;Deal!<\/p>\n<h2>You have to be early to your shift or YOU are late!!!<\/h2>\n<p>Often times golfers are really late in the timing of their wight shift, causing the lower body to remain not so aggressive into impact.<\/p>\n<p>Believe it or not, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rotaryswing.com\/golf-instruction\/golfbiomechanics\/golf-swing-weight-shift-to-left-heel.php\">weight shift over to the left side<\/a> happens before the completion of the backswing. This shift allows us to post up and pull with those God-given big muscles.<\/p>\n<h2>Time to learn the drill&#8230;<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">With good posture, stand with your feet about href=\"https:\/\/www.rotaryswing.com\/golf-instruction\/golfbiomechanics\/correct-golf-stance-width.php\">proper stance width<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rotaryswing.com\/golf-instruction\/golfbiomechanics\/early-extension-in-golf.php\">sit into your left side<\/a> before the golf club has reached the top of the backswing.
