Have you struggled with hitting a draw with your golf swing? If you’ve sliced the ball then learning how to hit a draw<\/strong> or even a hook can seem desirable yet impossible. Yet the reality is that there are really only a couple key ingredients to hitting a draw and I’m going to teach you both of \u00a0them right now.<\/p>\n

The first thing you’ve got to understand when learning to hit a draw is that your swing \u00a0plane ideally needs to approach the ball slightly from the inside. If you have a path like many amateurs that is over the top and out to in, you won’t be able to hit a proper draw, it will tend to be a low pull hook. So, first let’s fix your swing plane.<\/p>\n

Once you understand how to change your swing plane, it’s time to get the next key ingredient for a beautiful, high flying draw – releasing the club face.<\/p>\n

The club face must be slightly closed in relation to the path for the ball to curve right to left, assuming you hit the center of the club face. The good thing is that once you shallow out your swing plane the club face will begin to naturally want to rotate more around the shaft making it much easier to close your club face through the hitting area.<\/p>\n
