Importance of Golf Position: Backswing Plane vs Impact Plane

If you're like me, you  love compressing the golf ball so perfectly...you don't even feel it come off the clubface. If you could compress the ball like this every single shot...would you ever worry about what your backswing position looks like or if you're "on plane"?

For decades, we have seen great player after great player emerge with different looking golf swings. From the flat, rounded of swing of Ben Hogan, to the more upright swing of Jack Nicklaus, to the much more compact, put together swing of Tiger Woods.

Each time we see a new player start dominating on the golf course, we all of the sudden want to start swinging just like them. Trust me, I get it. I always wanted my swing to be just like the great Freddie Couples.

Let me ask you a really important question, that could make you stop and think about golf instruction in an entirely different manner...If Ben Hogan was the most dominant player of his era, and people still follow his book of fundamentals, then why don't you see many professional golfers swinging this way?

My point is this...

Just because a swing method worked for one player, does NOT mean it is the correct way to swing the golf club or is something that you should try and mirror. You can mirror Jordan Spieth's putting and I would not be upset with that decision at all.

Rotary Swing Tour was designed to eliminate the grey areas of golf instruction. You deserve the answers to these questions:

  1. What am I looking to achieve?
  2. How am I going to do it?
  3. Is this allowing me use my body in the safest and most efficient manner when swinging the golf club?

For the last 10-15 years, we have seen golf instruction become more scientific. We have seen the addition of trackman and other launch monitors, we have seen professional players become more aware of working out on a regular basis, we have also seen the equipment and balls change drastically.

All of this awesome new technology is great for you and your game, but, is it really helping you become the best player you can be?

So, back to my opening statement in regards to impact...If. we could teach YOU how to get into a tour quality impact position every single time, would you find that to be more valuable than any training aid or video on the market?

If you answered yes to the above question, then it's time to take control of your own golf swing and start getting the answers to all of your questions now. Take a look at this perfecting your impact series. This series of videos will start training you how to control the club face in the hitting area and you will start compressing the ball shot after shot!
